The rear or through projection alternative has 4 advantages:

a) Your ordinary projector (slide or video or overhead or data projector f.i.) is hidden behind the screen and thus is not disturbing among the spectators.

b) No need of darkening . So. in some case like a exposition booth you run otherwise into trouble.

c) . Shadow effects possible .

d) You avoid the risk that somebody among the spectators could push unintentionally the projection table (tripod)

If you use video projectors (which is getting very popular) - they normally require a really good darkened room for good quality.

With the rear projection you would get about 30 % better quality if there is light in the room (at

exhibition boots for inst.

Required distance between the screen and the projector: About l,5 - 4 Meters (yards) - depending

on the lens of the projector.

*Projection on shop windows

(projecting the video slides from inside of the shop in direction of the screen which is in the window for the people passing by in the street. With a screen of about 1,5 yards in square, you can promote for special offers during 1 or 2 weeks, whereby you can prepare the slides on the basis of the catalogue.

A quick slide change with fast movement can certainly much more attract the attention of the passers-by as a static shop window.

* Applications in shopping malls, restaurants, sport halls, for training purposes (with gym videos to projected from behind in a sport hall).
